I got a new roomate. ^-^ Her name is Lara and she seems pretty cool. Now all I've got to do is start seriously shopping for my dorm. Mum made me a giant poster collage of the most beautiful men imaginable (Johnny Depp, Josh Holloway, Heath Ledger, Alex O'Loughlin, some drool-worthy models...), and Lara has a giant poster of Jim Morrisson, so we'll have a pretty sick room.

The countdown has begun at long last, and I'm steeling myself for some unfair and unwanted goodbyes. This is not going to be easy, let me tell you.

I did a mini-show last week, got the script about two weeks before and put it up on a really cool little stage in our town called the Art Park. It was actually a medley of three student written one-acts, and it went off really really well. I was so stoked to be back onstage doing anything, and we had a really good audience and we even made $100 (after breaking even on the $200 fee to use the venue) at five dollars a ticket. It was really cool, and there were only 6 total actors, one legit techie and his older sister was the producer, so the eight of us founded The Lobster Players and we've been asked to come back and do another production just like it next summer. So this year was like The First Annual Flashlight/Spotlight at the Art Park. It's all good.

Major cleaning going on today, Block Island hooplah tomorrow. Whee.

Been writing a little bit - not too much now that I'm back in theatre mode, though.
