Opening night was killer. Usually I start gushing right about now but I'm in a really nasty mood so forgive me for being a total bitch.

Some dickwad from the local paper decided to write a shitty article telling everyone how lousy our show is (he wrote it a week ago at a dress rehearsal).

He said, and I quote, "The stage crew made a dog's breakfast out of a scene change." Who the fuck says shit like that? Honestly!

And there's this teacher in our school who used to run the drama club before Shane got here. He's really bitter because the shows are really good now and they sucked really badly when he directed them. So he thinks its his duty to critique every inch of the productions because of course he is the end-all of knowledge for everything theatrical. Please take note of my acidic sarcasm.

What really gets me about this guy is that besides him being a pain in the ass and his ego so stifling I start gagging, he adores me. Normally that's not a problem, but he thinks I'm amazing and he just goes on about how wonderful I am onstage and then bashes the rest of the show. It's not a fucking one man musical! There is no such thing! If he's going to take the time to notice how good I was, he needs to recognize the other 50 people involved in producing this show. I cannot stand that he will not say anything but crap about everything but me. I'm ashamed, actually.

He didn't even see the whole thing and he says shit like this. Bastard.

I wish I had another bagel. It was really delicious. It'd make me feel better.

I can't even sleep in tomorrow because I have college placement exams. Go to hell, college. Not really. What the hell...
